This custom actually is more of a happy accident than
anything else.  I had a shield liger equipped with
an assault gattling unit and wanted to paint the 
claws and teeth metalic silver.  however I slipped and
brushed some paint onto the mane and realized how
good that metalic silver looked like that.  I filled
it out and then moved on to painting the various small
details and hoses and whatnot.  I then moved on to
blue paint painting over the legs to make them look
more armored and painted over the cockpit expcept
for small slits on the side to give the liger eyes.

Really there's nothing more than paint to this project.
Lots of squinting and careful aplication.

What you can't see is I painted the pilot inside the
resemble young Van Flihight from the zoids anime.
