The lightning saix GT got its start when I ordered a set of flexible booster units. I originally put them on my lightning saix and later bought a second set. As you can see I assembled one set with the guns and one with the missiles and attached the outer set to the pegs of the inner set and simply experimented until I got an arrangement that looked good. The tail fins are made from a spare head of a blox leoblaze. I happened to have two heads left over in fact, one being from using a leoblaze to make a double arms lizard and the other from my matrix dragon. I carved off the teeth and cut it down to get the right look and then just used already existing holes inside the head halves toa ttach them to the tail. the ion boosters on the legs actually come from a macross 1/100 scale super gerwalk VF-1J. Since the super version recycles the parts sheet with the original legs while providing new armored legs for the gerwalk I had the original legs leftover and when assembled they look quite a lot like boosters. So they were assembled, painted black and superglued to some spare stabalizer caps. They attach to the legs of the saix simply by replacing the existing stabalizer caps. I also did some minor painting to the saix. The red intake on the chest has been painted black and some minor parts have been painted red including the ears, staalizer fins, coils on the neck and inner parts of the tail. You'll notice a piece is missing from the neck of my lightning saix. I'm going to say that was a part removed to lighten it up even though in truth it fell off and I lost it.
