Bear Fighter Polar combat custom

The Bear Fighter PCC or "Polar Bear" for short started
as a result of the Guylos empire using ice bergs
to conceal attacks on Republic shores.

Though the war ended without any further polar attacks
the republic made a priority of establishing bases on
the shores of the dark continent Nyx and the frigid
islands nearby.  Because frost developing in the joints
was a constant complaint of zoid pilots a special heating
system was developed.  Early on heating coils were used
but they constantly burnt out and needed replacing.

A new heating system was developed by rerouting the 
excess heat generated from the zoid core and using a
radiator fluid to keep the zoid ice free.  The first
zoid to employ this system was the bear fighter PCC.

It was remarked that the PCC was in fact kept so
warm that pilots had a habbit of falling asleep in
the cockpit.  The complexity of the PCC prevented
it from being produced in large numbers so the few
that were created were equipped with enough weaponry
to carry the worth of several standard bear fighters.

Equipped with the republic's own Heavy Beam cannon,
it can hand out a tremendous amount of frontal fire
while also carrying the unique Side Arm Assault Unit.

The side arm assault unit equips to the left side
of the bear fighter providing it with twin 50mm
Anti Air/Ground Beam cannons.  Though in the
default position they're set to take down air targets
the entire unit can pivot on the vertical to bring the
cannons to bear (no pun intended) against an oponent
to the front of the zoid. As well the SAAU sports a
rack of nine multi purpose missiles capable of
hitting both targets on the ground and in the air.
